How to customize template title pages

This article shows you how to create and delete sections in the Template Editor via the web app and the mobile app.

Before you begin

What are template title pages?

A template title page is the first page users see when they conduct inspections and view inspection reports. Title pages are a great way to capture essential details, giving you high-level context to inspection results. As part of customizing your template's title page, you can also create a naming convention for inspections that are conducted using the template.

You'll need

• "Conduct, edit" template access level at a minimum

Take note

• We recommend having no more than eight questions on a title page to avoid crowding on each report's front page.
• If you want to further shape how your inspection reports look, you can add report logos and create report layouts.

Each template comes with response types that can only be used on the title page to help capture high-level information:

Customize a title page

Web app

• Login AuditBranch web app.
• Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
• Click the template and select Edit template in the side panel
• Customize the title page accordingly.

Mobile app: Phones

• Open AuditBranch mobile app.
• Tap on Inspections at the bottom of your screen.
• Select the Templates tab at the top of your screen.
• Tap the template and select Edit template from the pop-up options.
• Customize the title page accordingly.
